This is an updated version of our Social Skills Save Lives Workshop. This workshop included two days of instruction focused on teaching a local animal shelter the importance of socialization, the proper safety procedures to put in place, body language to focus on, “good play” vs “bad play“, and the importance of giving the dogs a chance to have positive interactions. Letting dogs be social with other dogs gives them an outlet to let their energy out and have some fun, tire them out enough to encourage deep sleep, which in turn will increase “feel-good hormones“, which in turn will bring out a whole new dog in each of them! All of this will make shelter dogs more adoptable and more likely to stay in their homes once they are adopted. Social skills really do save lives!
You’ll find tons of value in this workshop whether you are a dog owner wanting to understand how to bring your pup together with other dogs, or if you’re running a kennel of your own and need some help fine tuning your procedures!
